iOS Mobile Advocacy Toolkit: CRPD Mobile App

About

The Mobile App "CRPD" is the first of its kind in the world. This innovative tool supports disability advocacy and participation in global governance by providing ready access to the structure and contents of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and its States Parties. It also provides information about the expert Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and on the Secretariat for the CRPD.

The CRPD iOS 10 mobile app commemorates the 10th anniversary of the CRPD and is an initial step towards a comprehensive mobile “CRPD Advocacy Toolkit” which aims to help advance the goal of universal ratification of the CRPD and implementation by States Parties. It is designed to facilitate engagement with organizations and campaigns working on the CRPD, and to promote knowledge of related international frameworks. It is created with the purposes of knowledge, awareness raising, research, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.

"CRPD" is the first of several innovations toward a comprehensive iOS mobile “CRPD Advocacy Toolkit” which aims to help advance the goal of universal ratification and implementation by States Parties.
